Dante Janik
Dante is a Registered Massage Therapist, Manual Osteopathic Therapist, and Kinesiologist. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with distinction from the University of Alberta, completed the 2,200-hour massage therapy program at the Alberta College of Massage Therapy, and graduated from the Manual Osteopathic College of Canada with honours and distinction. His background brings together an understanding of human movement, rehabilitation, and hands-on care.
With a personal background in competitive hockey and bodybuilding, Dante understands the demands of training, competition, and recovery. His clinical experience includes working with athletes, physique competitors, and people managing injuries, persistent pain, and everyday discomfort. While he has a strong interest in sports-focused treatment, he welcomes clients of all activity levels—whether you are preparing for competition, returning to exercise, or simply looking to move more comfortably.
Dante takes an individualized, assessment-led approach rather than following a set treatment routine. His training includes deep tissue massage, myofascial release, cupping, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), and manual osteopathic techniques, alongside movement assessment and exercise-based rehabilitation. Treatments draw on these approaches according to your needs, with pressure and techniques adapted to your preferences and comfort.
Dante values clear communication and helping you understand your treatment. Through hands-on care, practical education, and movement recommendations where appropriate, his goal is to support your recovery and help you feel more confident in your everyday activities.
